Better designed timers available

This timer initially seemed like a good buy but the longer I used it the less satisfied I was. First, it won't work if your outlet isn't grounded. This isn't a deal breaker, but it's worth mentioning. After using this timer to control my Christmas lights for a month (dusk to dawn setting), the main switch is shorted and I have to be very careful when setting the control or it won't turn on as planned.
