I bought these for a 2010 Yukon XL. They look great and are easy to put on. Simply clean the rear light surface with alcohol, let it dry and check that there is no lint or material residue on the lens. Then remove the backing from the 3M tape (which is already attached to the inside of the taillight covers) and press into place. A few words of caution. First, you MUST level the lid before removing the backing. It may take a bit of maneuvering to determine where the caps fit. My husband put the first one on without checking the position and ended up getting stuck on the tailgate when the back was open. I was able to move it as it didn't last long, but once the adhesive has set you can't move the product without damaging it. Typically, this means ripping it apart. Anyone who doubts the harmlessness of the adhesive for their car should not worry. I have used many products with 3M Automotive Adhesive and have never had any damage to my car's paint or other surfaces. I have found Putco products to be well made and durable.
