I bought this mattress topper because it was supposed to be good at relieving pain points in the shoulders and hips. I am very arthritis and this mattress topper does the trick. It presses against my body just enough around the pressure points which is great! The first night I slept on it was the best night I've slept in years! I didn't have to wake up and keep driving because my shoulders hurt. That's great! Well worth the money and provides all the support my husband and I need. The only negative thing about it was that it really isn't very breathable. Lying in the same position got really warm. It gets warm in the summer but I have a fan! This shouldn't stop you from buying on your own. If you're hurt hard enough and for long enough, you'll try anything. This will solve your problem when you have trouble sleeping due to pain and agony. I love my!
