I was a bit skeptical at first as I've had other smart sockets, but it took me very smart to set it up first and then figure out how to get it to do what I want. arrived in a small nondescript box and I thought "oh no. But I plugged it in, ran the setup and through the almond it was so easy I couldn't believe it! Turning lights on and off at night is great, now my lights turn on when I want and then turn off at different times when each of us goes to bed. My husband stays up late so he has peanuts with a lamp in his office. I have one in our living room and the other will be in master! The next step was to try to pair it with Alexa. OMG, you just open the Alexa app, search the Smart Home Settings section for almonds and the next part was so easy. Now all I have to do is say the magic word, Alexa, turn on the light in the living room, she does that for a second and says ok, I know the ok part is a bit boring, but at least she responds with an answer . . I now have two of them and will be buying more, love the ease of setup and what they expect from me. I can imagine if I can get my husband to buy some more, my house will soon be full of little peanuts! Great device at an unbeatable price.
