Software? Not afraid.

I bought this machine for two reasons; firstly it was toploading, secondly with burning software. I also generally trust the Pioneer name. However, I quickly found that the supplied software (Cyberlink PowerDirector15) was not only not fully functional, but also partially functional. You can't edit MPEG files with it and you can't burn Blu-ray discs with it! So you buy a Blu-ray burner with software that doesn't allow you to burn Blu-ray discs. I contacted Pioneer support and they confirmed it. "The included software is OEM and not a full version. You need to update via Cyberlink to burn Blu-ray movies." Functional. The burner itself is fine, it's small and plastic and seems to be working so far.
