Review on 🚰 Convenient Claber 8587 Quick-Fit Tap Connector Set: Indoor Faucet Adapter for Easy Use – Black/Orange, Pack of 1 by Darryl Jennings

I've been waiting for this for years! I live in an apartment and have a compact (portable) washing machine and table top dishwasher. Without a separate water connection, I have to connect them to the sink in the bathroom or in the kitchen. I kept a quick release spigot on both sinks as it was very difficult to swap aerators and spigots often. It didn't look pretty and the water flowed vigorously through the quick release which resulted in lots of splashing if I wasn't careful, but it was easier than unscrewing the aerator, screwing on the male part, then snapping it together and reversing the process. I stumbled across this while looking for the female part that was just an aerator. I didn't find it, but I found it! The aerator is excellent: works well, looks nice. I bought one to try and it worked so well I immediately bought a second one. So far it works well in terms of the quick attach/detach feature as well as the aerator. I would like to order the parts individually, but otherwise everything works great. Update 12/26/2016 (14 months later): The hose connected to my portable washing machine broke today. Everything was fine on the first boot, but it broke after the second boot. The clamp (orange part that says "Press") didn't hold when the water was on. When I turned it back on and slowly turned on the faucet, pieces of the black hose broke off just above the hole for the orange clamp. I've been using it multiple times a week for over a year, so that's about $1 a month. Disappointed but I will get more. I love this product and have not found anything else that does what this product does. Claber has a two-year guarantee. I wrote to them today, let's see how it works. (Update: They replied that I had to send them my broken piece and they sent a replacement.) Update 2/19/2018 Claber's replacement arrived in a reasonable time. My first lasted 14 months and it's only been about 12 months since I started using the replacement so I'm hoping it lasts longer. I don't know if the replacement comes with its own 2 year warranty or if the original 2 year warranty still applies. After getting a replacement I had an idea that might explain how they wear out. I have found that when I let them out of the faucet there is still a lot of pressure left in them even when the faucet is closed so the pressure could cause the part that snaps in and holds it to scratch the metal faucet aerator before it comes out completely until it finally wears out. To relieve this pressure, I turn on my small washing machine after turning off the tap. Some water goes into the washtub, then nothing (because the faucet is closed), and then I take the Claber out of the faucet. I won't know how effective it is over the next two months, but I wash more often, so I'm pretty sure I've clipped and unclipped it more times than the first time. Either the claber needs to make a metal clamp (the part labeled "PUSH" that clamps the aerator in place) or some sort of pressure relief.
