Decent and inexpensive upgrade!

If your printer came with a traditional plastic extruder that most have, you might want to consider switching to this metal extruder. One thing I noticed about the standard extruder is that if you don't have a filament guide, the filament can end up bumping into the plastic extruder. This will not happen with this metal extruder. It's not a difficult upgrade either. This is a one-for-one replacement of the original, so replacement is fairly easy. I feel like the extruder's metal spring helps hold the filament tighter, which in turn helps the filament flow and retract. I recommend this inexpensive upgrade for any plastic extruder.
