I can only imagine this is a 20-30 year old version of this item starting to crack. You want it if you already have it and are happy with it. While it may seem similar to what it was meant to replace, it's not exactly the same. This wouldn't be a problem, but you can't customize this at all. When you loosen the screw that connects the main body to the hinge, it still doesn't fit, it just falls apart. The one with the metal loop (U5002-PK), which I also got here at Revain, solves this problem. It has a poor standard angle but is fully adjustable with a screwdriver. The processing quality is also better with metal. If you already have this one and are happy with it then great, but if you have an old part you are looking to replace this probably isn't exactly what you need.
