Review on Convenient Portable Electric Water Pump for 5 Gallon Bottles – Automatic Drinking Water Jug Dispenser (Black) by Michael Straughter

EDIT 8/29/20: Found a way to make it sturdier! I bought GCap bottle caps and cut off the part that goes in to make a makeshift seal (other food grade seals may work). You can pull it over the opening of the water jug after removing the plastic cover. Then the pump can be fixed from above. The seal is not visible and the pump is fairly reliable. The hole must be large enough to allow air to replace the pumped water. Because of this, you may not want to push the pump all the way down. INITIAL REVIEW 6/25/20: Overall I'm happy with this device. It looks beautiful, delivers a full stream of water and is easy to use. My only area of dissatisfaction is the same as some of the other reviewers. The pump is not very reliable as it sits on top. There is no screw top and it doesn't close the lid well enough. It's VERY easy to knock off the top of the pitcher. I would like the design to protrude beyond the lid or have some sort of silicone disc to give it more stability. I'll try to find a replacement silicone cap for more stability.
