I used to pay about $40 just for broken glass. It had an adhesive backing to stick to the plastic and only lasted about a week before falling off and breaking. This side mirror comes with simple instructions on how to remove the old part and fit the new part. My car doesn't have heaters or motors on the mirror so I didn't have to mess with any wires, but the instructions did tell me how to reattach those wires. I am very happy with this purchase!
