I bought a DIVA ring lamp a few years ago and paid A LOT more. Funny thing is, it's MUCH better. 1) It can be dimmed so you're not completely blurry. 2) "Orange" diffuser makes you look more natural. I apply 1 orange diffuser and 3 white diffusers and it looks like I have a tan. 3) It's an LED, so it uses some power! 4) It is lighter and easier to move. Less chance of it breaking. My first DIVA Light broke and I had to find a replacement. I had already accidentally knocked the light over and everything was fine after that. 1 drawback I have to say: This brand seems to use very cheap power supplies. The first one I bought had a broken power supply (a hole punched in the side) and stopped working. I had to go back and get this one. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the power supply issue. Neewer: Upgrade your husband's electrics and you have a thriving brand that will last. In general I am happy with it! Amazing for the price.
