Introduction: Sorry/not sorry for the long review. I take them seriously. I bought it for a small entry-level mobile studio shoot. Bought mainly for the lighting. This product comes from China and is also identified as such in terms of quality. Like most ALL product photos, they DO NOT match the product in many ways. Good: acceptable quality product for the price I paid. The materials seem strong enough to do what they're supposed to do and no more. In other words, get in the habit of being gentle with them, because I know they tend to do harm easily. The product is intuitive and the initial setup took about 30 minutes. The power system for the lights is good and doesn't put undue stress on the connectors. Carrying cases hold everything in the kit with a little extra room (recommend a surge protector and an extension cord to complete the kit). The reflectors are a bonus, but they are a "combined" setup, not individual reflectors like in the picture. Packed and shipped very well. Of the minuses: one lightbulb didn't work (didn't burn out, just didn't work). The umbrella tension knob squeezes the umbrella shaft if overtightened, but it is almost necessary to re-tighten to keep it in place (decided by a better and tighter umbrella shaft). The light is too weak (fixed by replacing with more powerful bulbs). The base for the lamps is made of thin metal, and one of them was slightly warped, which made it difficult to install the lamp (this is solved by improving the quality of the base). I essentially let the lightbulb "reform" the filament. The background clips (not big clips) are very faint. The pin that connects the clip is inserted through the halves, but not secured at the end (this is released by bending the end 90 degrees, which can be done during the assembly process). And it should come with 6. not with 5. Things to consider: Think about the height of the product; I'm 6' tall so any models near that height will be near the top of your background. The background is pretty clean even when all three are used at the same time. You can invest in brighter lamps for umbrellas and soft boxes. I suggest adding an extension cord and extension cord to simplify power wiring. Be ginger with all parts; They seem to be easily damaged if they are even slightly mistreated.
