This review is about my use of latex and acrylic paints. I try to avoid oil paint like the plague. The head is tight and looks well made. Priced at $5.48 at the time of this review, you can't go wrong. This is my perfect solution for home improvement odd jobs. Not recommended for everyday professional use. I used a blender attached to a cordless drill at a low speed just enough to get the job done. When the mix head was on a full gallon of paint there was no spatter. Just make sure the head is submerged in water. When used with a full gallon there is plenty of room to mount a drill. See attached photos. Cleaning is easy. I used a paper towel to wipe away the wet paint and let the remaining paint dry. I scraped off the dried paint with a plastic spatula. The remaining dried paint was removed with a green sponge and plain water. Metal tools can damage the head and excessively scratch the shank, which can lead to premature rust. I'm concerned about rust, assuming the shaft is steel coated with whatever it's coated with. When the shaft is made of corrosion-resistant alloy, forget about rust and enjoy.
