Well, after those cheap plastic folding saws, that's just a dream! They actually fold down to (roughly) 4 x 4 x 36 inches. I added a 2x4 plank of wood on top. To make this task easier, 6 holes are pre-drilled. Steel if I accidentally clip next to a horse. This makes them slightly larger and heavier. I plan on adding an eyebolt to one end so they can be hung on the wall. They are very easy to put on. There is a button on each leg for unlocking and folding. When the button is folded, the button keeps the leg closed, so it's the same procedure to open them again. They feel very sturdy when open. I trust that I will have them for many years.
