The slider gets hung up a little after a couple good whacks. Have to say its so much easier .

Finally used this, this past weekend. Re-did all the copper lug connections on my diesel. Crimped 1/0 and 2/0 lugs with ease. The slider gets hung up a little after a couple good whacks. Have to say its so much easier than vise grips or hitting the lugs with a hammer by themselves.
