Review on Aqueon Betta Starter Gallon Black by Brent Borseth

First of all, this aquarium should NEVER be used permanently as a betta tank - the minimum size required to keep these fish happy and healthy is 2.5 gallons, ideally 5 gallons. I've used it as a hospital tank when I need to treat my little boy for an illness so I don't contaminate his main tank with medicines and chemicals. His. Well, I'm guessing it's $10. You get what you pay for. The bad rating does not refer to the quality but to the condition of the "new" product. Delivered well and the main box was undamaged but when I unpacked the tank from all the plastic it was completely clogged as if it had had a long life. It doesn't smell used, but it certainly looks like it. I wonder if it's just cheap plastic that scratches so easily that the packaging will damage it? Regardless, I wanted to write a review so others know what to expect. It's a $10 aquarium and you get a $10 aquarium. these are for life imprisonment.
