Buying toys for my eight year old grandson of twenty eight is not easy. He loves his video games and has outgrown Nerf. However, he was strangely intrigued by the mechanics of this simple wind-up toy, practicing the level of wind-up, variable tilt, and aiming, and running around to get it. I bought three, one for him and his neighbor friends and they had a lovely day with them. They hold up well too. These will make great beach toys and since they are quite cute you can leave one for little visitors without feeling cluttered.
