This is pretty nice impact wrench. It doesn't feel as high quality as some Snap-On and old school craftsman I've had the pleasure of using (but not owning) in the past. That being said, I think this is more than good enough for any home users, and will probably last quite a long while even in commercial use. The bell housing feels like solid metal, probably cast aluminum. The bell housing is painted, and this will definitely chip off after some use (doesn't bother me, but I know some people seem to care about how pretty their tools look). The rest of the housing is a nice heavily glass fiber reinforced polymer. It feels like nylon to me. There is a flexible overmolding around the handle -- I am not sure how long this will last (and how well it will hold up to grease and solvents), but it's working fine so far. The housing is held together by Torx screws and roll pins. This wrench is not super heavy (4lbs, 2oz), but the weight distribution is relatively front-heavy. It is also quite compact -- with a 17mm deep socket attached, it is just a hair over 9.5" from the back of the wrench to the tip of the socket. It has a hog ring anvil that is easy to use, and I really like how easy the buttons/torque dial are to operate with gloves (even thick ones) on. The muffler is integrated into the handle, and seems to work well.Overall, this is a good quality tool that will serve most users very well for a long time. No complaints from me. It doesn't come with a 1/4" quick disconnect, but those are cheap and most people have spares laying around. The electric impact wrenches these days have gotten very good and in many cases rival the pneumatic wrenches -- however, this pneumatic gun has the advantage of not needing to be charged, and higher torque (similarly priced electric impact guns generally run about 450 ft-lbs or so). The build quality feels to be about on the same level as the nicer Milwaukee tools. The obvious disadvantage is the hose can be cumbersome to work with (and is not portable unless you bring a portable compressor with you).
