Very thin and thin wires on each side must match the socket.
Most of them weren't installed properly and therefore didn't work. The very thin and thin wires on each side need to match the socket to make a connection for power transmission. The cords on some of my lamps were miswired so when I plugged them into outlets the cords snapped or deformed rendering the lamp unusable. The headlights cost the same to return as they did to buy, which is why they ended up in the trash.
