Review on Scotch Brite Surface Conditioning Medium 07486 by Kofi Wills

I like Scotch Brite wheels, but I've never been a big fan of their durability (or lack thereof). When used with a small, high-speed tool (which is what they were designed for), they do an excellent job of cleaning the surface, but at the cost of a very short lifespan. The high speed seems to break or melt the abrasive "wave" fairly quickly, but if you know what's going on (like me) then buying a big box makes sense. Don't get me wrong, they clean the surface very well but have a very limited lifespan.
