An “okay” purchase for the money.
Fairly easy to install, but I’m pretty mechanically inclined, so I don’t think it would be as easy for others. Top rubber strip was damaged (see photo). Plastic end caps are very cheaply made, didn’t lock easily, shakes when put on, doesn’t cover everything completely (see photo) and are not very durable. An okay purchase for the money, I suppose. Overall, I think it kind of hurts the look of the car, but my wife likes them, so I guess it is a matter of opinion (see photos). I took them off until I need to haul my kayak on them. Didn’t try anything with a load on them, so I’m not sure how they will perform in that regard.
- Ideal for transporting awkward or bulky items that won't fit in the trunk or other spaces
- The crossbars may be more difficult to clean and maintain than other luggage management systems
