This product, or at least one of the 12 I've actually used, does exactly what I need. Expand the Moen valve. However, all I needed was a brass extension, no additional rosette, nine screws and a plastic insert. But for all of that, most of which is now in the trash, I had to pay $25. This is not a Revain issue. That's Moen's problem. Moen is said to only offer a brass extension. Of course this extension solves the problem with Moen Posi-Temp installations where the valve is built too far into the wall cavity. I want to thank Moen for providing this, but I have to do it AGAINST CONFLICT. The reason is the vague installation instructions for the "valve". What Moen doesn't clarify is that when inserting the valve into a wall cavity, the brass stem should protrude at least 1/2 inch beyond the base of the exterior wall (i.e. the tile). doesn't mention the option to purchase
