Not quite like in the photo.

Ordered this as was told it would fit my sons 2002 Olds Alero. But the sensor housing is much wider than in the picture. The thread is fine and it fits your 7/8 standard. So I had to buy another outlet to install it. Everything else works fine since install, no codes.

OEM replacement part at half the price of a local car.

Half price OEM part from local car dealers. It was an exact match and the OBD II code was cleared from the oxygen sensor error "Bank 1 Sensor 1". Located at the rear of a 2002 Olds Alero 4 cylinder engine. Remove the heat shield for easier access. Take your time to disconnect the electrical clip to avoid damaging it. Apply anti-seize compound to the threads.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Concise Manual

Exact replacement. Huge savings.

Let me start by saying that you will save a lot of money without spending a lot of time by learning how to do simple repairs and maintenance on your car. I have no formal training in mechanics. I just search a lot on google and youtube. From there it's just trial and error. I bought this ACDelco oxygen sensor to replace a front sensor that blew on my 2002 Chevy Cavalier. Between this and the outlet adapter I bought, I spent about $55 and 10 minutes of my time changing it. Since then everything…

The sealed item and the presence of instructions is very important

Very concerned that the item was unsealed and arrived WITHOUT identifying instructions. To find out if sensor 02 was upstream or downstream. As in an auto parts store, such an item is usually sealed and comes with instructions. I was concerned that this part had already been used and was being returned. if you put the wrong or used 02 sensor on the wrong end of the exhaust pipe. Then it is likely that the part is NOT working properly and the check engine light is NOT going out due to the…

Exact OEM replacement - worked great!

Why order third party parts when you can get an exact original part for about the same price? I ordered this oxygen sensor for our 2004 Saturn Vue. This is an exact GM replacement so all that was required was to remove the faulty one and install this one. I cleared the error code after installation and it's been working great ever since. Actual mileage appears to have increased slightly, although it may be too early to say for sure. I read a parts replacement procedure on the Saturn blog that…

  • Definitely a bad product
