Medium harness fully adjustable; matches my 50 lb border collie and my lab mix; also fits a 90lb black labrador puppy (a bit tight). Thanks to the fluffy padding on the chest, the dog does not rub. It appears to be sewn very tightly, so I expect many years of service. My dog loves wearing it as it means going in the car!

I ordered this in bulk. When the package arrived in the mail I found that it contained 2 (large and medium). The accompanying note said they also sent a medium package in case the large one was too big. Who is doing something this amazing right now?! The harness fits perfectly and is very soft. The adapters must be purchased separately, but are easy to find and inexpensive. Excellent work! Very satisfied!

This is a great harness as you would expect from the American Kennel Club. I don't know why we didn't get it 10 years ago. This not only makes walking more comfortable and less suffocating for our bichon, it can also be buckled up quickly and easily in the car. It is no longer difficult to take him to the vet, hairdresser, etc. when the car window buttons are stepped on and the windows are full of nose prints. I have one of these discontinued for my small pit to replace a similar one that we lost. It seems to me that AKC believed too much in the "one size fits many" approach, and they got it wrong. I've read other reviews (after we already bought / A** backwards haha) and seen a lot of complaints about the size and "there's no choice but to return" and I don't agree with them! no offense to previous reviewers, but if you have the general knowledge, resizing is a walk in the park. It took me longer to pull the harness through the harness than it did for our 34 lb dog to wriggle out when we tried the medium harness but the small fits her fine .
