I have had this product for a little over a month. My wife said the outside of the toaster gets very hot. I didn't think anything of it as we only use the toaster a couple of times a month. After using it yesterday morning I had to reach for it to get to the outlet and the sliding contact on my wrist gave me a pretty painful burn. See attached picture. Not a safe product.

I thought it was a good buy because I only made one batch and the toast came out good. One morning my wife was making toast for the family breakfast. First batch was good, second batch was too dark so lowered the setting, third batch burned out. With this toaster you cannot make consecutive batches of toast without a long cooling time between batches. I threw the box away or would send it back for a refund.

Before purchasing this model I reviewed several toasters available from Revain. I am very happy with the decision made. It's simple, no frills and attractive. You won't find any fancy features in this toaster, but you will find a reliable, good-looking toaster that doesn't take up much countertop space. It is ideal for bagels and toast (of various thicknesses) and toasts them perfectly. If you are looking for an inexpensive toast with a stylish look, then this is what you need.

I purchased this product with a scratch/dent on the original packaging and it arrived as advertised. My main complaint is that I was trying to insert a piece of bread that was cut from a whole loaf that was too wide to fit. A piece of bread of normal width is sufficient. Safety Hazard - Do not touch anything other than the end button of the toaster while toasting, or at any time within 10 minutes of use, without burning yourself.
