I'm not sure about the quality yet.

I'm not sure about this product yet. I used it at work and it was hard to take it all the way off. There were many small parts that took a long time to remove. I'll use it again on another type of surface and see how it works. At the same time, I do not recommend buying it.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • boring packaging

Paint torn off the wall

I just restored 4000 sqm. Foot of antique restored white oak in a $15 million home in Brentwood, California. There are no baseboards so I used this tape to protect the walls from cuts in the gasket and T-bar. What mistake! This tape stuck more than duct tape and removed most of the paint from the walls. Thanks you bloody idiots for costing me hundreds for a touch up. Medium grab my A$$.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Not sure

Adhesive tape is not of good quality. Sticks to walls and pulls out paint.

Just painted a house and apartment so I know, blue tape. I also worked as a painter in high school with my father who is a professional painter. I ordered this unnamed brand to save money. it is very bad. Sticks to walls (breaks when peeled off wall). Another tape I used at a home camp - I was able to leave it for a few days and it peeled off the wall with no problem. I will not order this again. The price is right - having to scrape it off the wall really sucks.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Painted, all color is gone.

Not exactly painters tape - too strong. I used it as a mask to paint my parking lot, but instead of leaving nice painted stripes for the parking lot, it soaked up all the paint and left marks where it needed to be. The second time I put real tape as a template and stuck this tape on both sides of the tape and after painting I immediately removed the masking tape to avoid mess. He still left strips of tape along the strips. I wasn't looking for a bargain, just the convenience of buying online.

  • Heavy duty finish

The glue is too strong. It took too much effort to disable it.

It's been decades since I've needed masking tape, so when I got the supply rolls from Blue Summit I thought SUPER strong adhesive was in order. Then yesterday I got the NORMAL tape and found that this Blue Summit tape is awful. Masking tape requires and requires a light adhesive. This Blue Summit band is a pain. Half the time the tape broke when I tried to remove a piece from the roll because there was too much glue. You get the gist. Choose another brand.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Almost never

The good news is I didn't bleed under the tape. The bad news is that the tape kept ripping when I took it off. Disturbing small stripes directly in front of the bar. I used a semi-gloss white finish on an exterior door with a wooden floor. So I had lots of tape for the painted area. Removal was much more difficult than other brands of masking tape. He stuck too much to walls and glass. Glue is stronger than drawing paper. Get a well-known brand instead.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • There are problems

Do not use this tape if you care about your paintwork.

Total nonsense. I just got my Beneteau 405 ready for painting. After the boot strip was primed with Allgrip 545, the tape was removed the next morning but glue stayed where it was stuck. After spending a whole day cleaning the glue with acetone, nail polish thinner and alcohol. The glue is still there. I'm afraid to use a sander in case I bump into the glue and smear it all over the surface. Just finished spraying Awlcraft 2000. Matterhorn is white. I had to go to an auto paint shop and buy 3M…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Working speed

GARBAGE. Tears are awful, too sticky, curl on themselves on long strands.

The title speaks for itself. It's terrible. Two stars because it was fairly cheap, but not worth the savings due to the deteriorated condition you will experience using this material, not worth the roll - Tape curls when tearing off a long length, what's the point? It's painter's tape, straight edges need longer lengths! - Once it sticks to itself, forget about using that piece for anything, just throw it away and start over; You'll probably have to fix those horrible tears you made on the tape

  • Best
Cons
  • So-so
