Tired of cheap switches that come loose in the wind?

Much better than $2 toggle switches. Because, as you know, they cost $6. After clicking it a thousand times and it's still working great, you'll realize where the extra money went. All-season gear, please.

Pros
  • Industrial Electrical
Cons
  • Exorbitant price

decent but not waterproof

They work fine, typical toggle switch but they are not waterproof. They got wet and noticed my light stayed on. They were supposed to be weak, but something in the switch closed the circuit so they went very weak. Dry switches didn't solve the problem, if you can keep them dry they'll probably be fine.

Pros
  • Industrial switch
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Reliable switch from a good company

These switches were used exclusively when working on boats. IMHO in a marine environment, wire connections need to be soldered and lightly covered with anti-corrosive. The last step is covering with heat shrink tubing with glue. After so much work with connections, it's probably not worth saving a dollar on the switch itself. Blue Sea sells rubber and brass screws on the lid to secure the switch if you're in a really foggy area.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
