Purchased to cover holes when installing a new kitchen faucet. I liked that it has square ends. It warped slightly when the faucet was tightened, but not enough to allow leakage into the faucet's former holes. My only real complaint is that it stains and water stains. Brasso takes care of it. This isn't really a negative, just an extra step to keep the kitchen "polished".

It's ok, it would be perfect if it stayed even around the rim where the plate meets the sink, but it doesn't. So it's kind of like fans on both ends. I tried lubricating it all over but had a hard time getting it past my tall faucet because I hooked up a water ionizer to a side faucet that comes out the side. It's not the best anyway, but for the price I guess I can't complain or laugh

Weak and bends as most reviews claim. I took a chance seeing some good and bad reviews, BAD move. If you have a faucet with a hole, you know the faucet is going to be big and beefy. Deck plates are usually strong and can hold them up. Not this one, it bends and bends. Do you think it's a coincidence? I bought and installed 8 of these in a week and they all make a great crappy faucet. Stick to the best brand/ranking

The plate looks good but is a little weak. The faucet I bought had an oval base, I wanted a square one. I installed it and the faucet, turned it all the way on. The faucet wobbled/moved during use and weakened during a wash. The plate was also weakened at this point and, having started to deform, tightened to keep the crane from moving, and now it is bent. I definitely wouldn't buy that. Now I have to get a better one and completely dismantle the faucet, hoses, everything to replace.

The product itself is of solid construction. I love that it has foam on the bottom to keep it from sliding around. My only concern with this product was if it would absorb and retain water between the bottom and the top of the sink. I would suggest you can add sealant to the outside (I would recommend that) but it should be clear silicone as the colored sealant ruins the elegance it presents once installed.
