Awkward to use but good print quality

I bought the white version which I like but it's a noisy machine when printing - sounds like it's about to explode, jiggle and rattle. For home use only, so don't mind the slowness. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 3 because it actually prints from my phone, which was amazing since my old Apple Mac wouldn't let me fully download the software. Had to hook it up through my husband's newer Mac. The main issue is that the control panel isn't backlit, making it unreadable without the backlight directly

INK IS NOT REALLY LOW

I love this printer. I needed something to print from my iPad. It exceeded my expectations. Easy enough to set up. As others have said, the ink warning comes up after a few prints, BUT if you ignore it and wait for it to go away completely, you'll be amazed at how much ink is left after the ink gauge first appears. I'm still running out of cartridges that I had in October. My first low ink warning came just a few weeks later. So I bought refills in a hurry, but decided to wait until the…

It takes forever to print each page.

This printer is TAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Every time I try to print something it makes a grating click click click like it's restarting. I press "Print" and it takes at least 3 minutes for the page to print! Every side! I hate this printer!

Worst setup process I've ever experienced

I've followed the instructions to connect the printer to WiFi several times, but it never worked. Neither from a smartphone nor from a laptop (I have a MAC). I tried connecting manually, also got an error, but somehow the printer connected as I can print using the standard MAC driver. The scanner does not work. It's actually an OK printer for the dollars spent, but it seems the folks at Canon never checked their own instructions.

let's be honest in Printers & Supplies

You are not viewing this printer because you have a specific job/purpose. You must put on paper what is on your screen so that you can give it to an employer, teacher, or government agency. Congratulations, you found it. This is a printer that hits the spot, it prints great in color, even in black and white. If you need an emergency photo on glossy paper, that's fine, and nobody outside of the photo industry is the wiser. Do you want to know why I'm here? I'm here because Epson won't print in…

Reconsider your choice Revain

Update: I spoke to Canon support who told me that draft printing is only available for computers running Windows operating systems. [I don't know what Linux is] Printing drafts is not possible on Mac operating systems (which I have) Sierra, High Sierra and Mojave. Canon says it's a Mac issue. Mac says it's a Canon issue. Also, I was told that the ink tanks that came with the printer are about half full, which explains why the black one ran out so quickly. But given that, I still have to replace

skip it useful for printers and accessories

I've been a big fan of Canon printers for almost 20 years and most of them are great. This. well, to a lesser extent. A long time ago one of Canon's hallmarks was that they used separate color tanks. In fact, the only Canon printers that come to mind in recent history that don't work this way are their ultraportable printers, and now this one. So you get a black cartridge and a tri-color cartridge. For example, if you use up all your cyan when your document prints links, you need to replace the

Great as a main printer. But the print quality is not very good

I hope this review will help you a little in your search! So I bought this printer because I was looking for a cheap printer that I can still use for my craft business. And when I was looking for good DIY printers that were also compatible with Cricut, this one had some pretty good recommendations. I'll post my pros and cons! First cons because people usually want to know all the bad stuff that isn't advertised on Revain lol. CONS: I've had this printer for 5 days but have used it decently so I
