SIZE INFO Cold weather coat HERE

So I wanted to buy one for my dog. But I read so many reviews that the sizes are too small. That's why I was worried. There has to be a size chart somewhere. And there is! Here: you need to measure your dog's chest and neck and that will tell you the size. According to this chart, my toy poodle, who weighs 14 pounds, is average! size length. Suitable for the neck. Suitable for chest. -20"M.16".12-14".18-22"L.20".14-18".22-28"XL.24".16-20". 26-34"XXL.30" but Revain is cheaper.) Stupidly it took…

We use it whenever he's under 40

We put it on our pit bull when we're out in the cold. He seems to enjoy it because his hair is so short that when it gets too cold he can't enjoy the walk and wants to go back inside. The jacket solved that problem for us. It's also sturdy enough for a dog that likes to run through the bushes, and it has a pocket where we can stash a spare roll of pockets and a spare key in case we locked ourselves out or were ill-prepared. If you have a large dog I would recommend the XL size, we took the…

PERFECT - LOVE IT for dogs

My 92 lb Staffordshire Terrier LOVES this coat. He seems very proud of himself when he wears it. The color (green) suits him well :) makes him look royal. Seriously, it's easy to put on and take off. It is of good quality and very soft for his skin. I've only had it a week so I don't know how it's wearing off; But it's cheap enough I would buy another one if needed. He's longer (head to tail) than expected, but the smaller size wouldn't accommodate his huge neck, chest, and girth. We use it…

Belts that fit! - Cold weather coat

I'm surprised at how hard it is to find decent coats for dogs. It's about the strap. Once you get over your style preference and find one that least contradicts your aesthetic, you'll find that the strap is too short. I mean who does these things? Have they ever applied their product to a real dog? I have two dogs, one skinny and one good not skinny. The straps were too short, even on a skinny dog. My favorite jacket for the older and skinny is the Zack and Zoey linen coat, similar to the…

Perfect but be careful with the size

Wonderful! We live in Texas and winters can freeze for a few months but usually it's the 40's and 50's. Consequently, I wasn't looking for a durable coat for our rat terrier, who is freezing outside but doesn't let us pull a sweater over our heads. This jacket is perfect - easy to slip on and light enough to play with. Dogs don't stay in the rain long enough to get wet, but it's perfect for running errands - raindrops just shake. take off her velvet coat and she'll really go out into the yard…

Lovely jacket - wish the fit was a little more adjustable

We bought the jacket for our 70 lb greyhound. It measures approximately 26 inches from shoulder to tail, falling between XL and XXL for most dog jackets. Pros: Works very well in our climate. We live in the mid-Atlantic (Appalachia) and the weather here can vary greatly in temperature. We took him to 30 degrees Fahrenheit in this coat and didn't see him tremble.- Looks very nice. We received many compliments while he was away and other pet owners have asked us where we got him from. Reflective…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Only available in black

For the price it's easy and honestly you can't beat it. Period. I just moved to southern Michigan and was concerned that my tall friend, my Tazzie-Bert, would freeze because he is a black lab mix with short black hair. On a tight handicap budget (cancer wreaked havoc on my body) I couldn't afford the $40-50 overcoats that were in local stores. And most of the time the front legs had to slip through the coat to put it on (which I don't think my Taz would like). I needed to find something warm…
