Didn't work at all: Computer components

I had to switch between my work laptop and the editing station, but I use a backlit "gaming keyboard". He didn't switch. I even filed the power supply, thinking that might be the problem, but it still didn't register the wireless keyboard or my backlit keyboard. He didn't even switch between the two computers. It was total nonsense. I'm going back and looking for another brand.

Not for long, devices keep losing connection

Not too enthusiastic about this device. Bought to share my mouse and keyboard between my laptop and desktop. It worked fine for a month, then the problems started. The mouse would disconnect/stop working until I plugged and unplugged it, occasionally wiggling the USB and plugging it back in. I was expecting more based on the reviews but I have a lemon. Tested on 2 different keyboards/mouse and with the same issue.

Below average performance, poor handling

When I got this selector, it looked and worked fine, but with limitations. The selection had a significant lag, partly because of my screen, and also because the switching was very unreliable. HDMI connections were also very problematic. I must have switched between 5 different HDMI cables to get a combination that seems to stay connected. Not sure why, but the plug's too-flush design or possibly the internal electronics are to blame. Over time, the switch became more and more random until it…

Works as it says on the tin

Used to switch keyboard and mouse between iMac and Thinkpad Win10 PC. And it works as advertised. Each system recognizes devices within seconds, if not faster. Yes, it has 4 ports and I may have paid too much to only use 2 of them, but I think something will happen if I need an extra one. And if something goes wrong with a port or 2, I have a spare for durability. I bought a cheaper single port product from another vendor but it didn't work with win10 at all. I think you get what you pay for…
