Didn't last long - power tool parts and accessories

Completely removed after cutting about 15 linear feet of 1/32 inch stainless steel sheet. I don't know if another blade would work better, but don't expect anything special from this one.

Pros
  • Beautifully packaged
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Very good blade suitable for power tools and hand tools

I cut a hole in a metal case with this blade and it was like cutting cardboard. I don't know how long it can last, but what I've done hasn't affected its cutting ability, so it'll last me forever now.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • frequency

Like a hot knife through butter

This blade really lives up to its reputation. The blade cut all types of metal I've used it on, including solid bar. Based on the performance of this blade, my next purchase will be a hacksaw that uses a 14" diameter Diablo Steel Demon Ferrous Cutting blade. Be careful with metal fragments and pieces, they detach from the disc at high speed. Wear normal metal cutting protection.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Non-automatic

Cuts ProRib building boards easily and FAST!

Used to trim the end wall and start metal for a mail shed. Wanted to buy a DEWALT cordless hacksaw but didn't have it in stock so I used one of my other DEWALT saws and it worked great. A hacksaw would have slowed the RPM, but a regular high speed saw worked. Ordinary hacksaws also have guards that are only there to deflect metal chips. Just put on a face shield and know it's throwing sawdust right in front of the saw and slightly towards the person using the saw. Cuts faster and smoother than…

Difficult to find another method of easy metal cutting

works well, expensive, blunts much quicker than expected. It's hard to find another way to easily cut metal. Outperforms abrasive blades in every way. If you have painted steel or steel that you want to cut clean and neat, buy this blade now. If you can deal with burrs and a "clean cut" isn't very important, buy a grinding wheel which for the price of that wheel alone can be bought for around $30+. Specially used on 29 gauge painted steel roofs to cut corners. It leaves virtually no burrs…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Smooth cuts in thin steel

Used this blade on my saw table for its very fine kerf. I reduced the blade rotation speed to 1800 rpm by putting a smaller diameter pulley on the motor shaft. Half the speed and twice the torque. Make dozens of bevel cuts on square metal tubing. Feed slowly to avoid sparking and prolong blade life. Sparking means that the metal being cut is heated and solidified by this heat. Once the path you're cutting gets hard, it will begin to blunt the tips of the carbide blades, creating even more heat.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Easy Winner in the Power Tool Parts & Accessories category

I had to cut a lot of 29ga corrugated iron. Started with a grinding wheel. Then various hand cutters. Rotate the circular saw blade to run backwards. Grind the old blade down to a very fine notch. Everything is absolutely terrible. The edges were terrible and I spent a lot of time sanding and sanding them. abominable. So ok, pretty much bought this blade for a job. Nothing else worked. I used a saw on a caterpillar so the cuts were just perfect. This is truly a specialty disc that only…

Cuts thin steel very well

I bought this blade after trying to use the blade to cut metal on a reciprocating saw and encountering a hopeless problem with blade drift. There was no way a saber saw could cut through corrugated sheet steel without drifting. After some research I bought this knife and it works very well. It cuts 1/4" plywood as fast as a saw and leaves a straight edge that looks like a factory edge. (Not as smooth.) This is the best solution for cutting thin steel I've seen. I recommend Urge you to wear…
