Dirt Devil Power Express Vacuum Review

This vacuum cleaner does its job well. But it is VERY noisy. I have noise canceling headphones and that helps a bit. Also, the lower third - the working end - is much wider than shown, resulting in an unfavorable weight distribution. Translation: This monster is HARD TO HANDLE. The rotating brush is a great feature; The vacuum cleaner is excellent on carpets. My tip: buy it. The good qualities outweigh the bad.

I use this vacuum in my motorhome/RV. It's big, beautiful and small - easy to pack. It works great on my carpets and linoleum. I love that I can remove the metal tube handle and use it like a real handmade Dirt Devil. It does not contain much dirt, so it needs to be cleaned after each use. I wanted to give this product 5 stars as the suction is great and it's incredibly light and versatile, but the roller brush stops after only 5 minutes. normal use on low-pile carpets. Terrible. They sold me a used one and just threw it in a broken box. I didn't even get the enhanced pet version, just the normal one and the pet attachment, literally without the separate pack thrown in. The vacuum was taken out of use and returned due to someone else's dissatisfaction and I received used dirt from them who tried to resell it as new. The first few times I used it but the roller stopped working. I used to like it. You'd think that wouldn't be a problem since there's an on/off switch for the brush roller. The "off" setting (the one it's currently stuck in) is pretty much useless, as with stationary bristles it blocks actual debris extraction.
