Perfect for bodywork

Bought a 4 door kit for a 2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac. Everything is EASY to install. Installer Tip: Circle the existing striker plate before removing it to ensure the door closes properly with the new kit.

Pros
  • Quick change
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Only the best in doors

This is exactly what helped with my '89 Bronco II against the rattling doors. I didn't have a torx so I used a wrench and WD40 to get the old ones out. Make sure you mark the placement with a felt tip pen first. The new ones moved in right away and the doors close tightly and securely. This applies to the front doors, not the tailgate.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

perfect fit great price

All 4 bolts on my 2001 Ford Sport Trac needed to be replaced. The nylon roller on all 4 was rotten and falling apart making the door difficult to open and close. After searching the net they are perfect. And these 2 packs at such a great price were just what I needed. They look and fit exactly like OEM factory bolts. You only have to tighten it after a week.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Replacement Availability

Now it's easy to open and close the doors

2001 Ford Explorer. All four passenger door locks replaced. Make sure you use the hooks on your old screw before removing it. If you don't do this, it will take time to fix everything. Also, be careful when using Pex. I used 1/2" Pex and the latch mechanism cut into the Pex and I couldn't open the door. Had to remove the door and inner plastic strip to get to the lock (difficult with the door closed) I recommend buying these Lock plate. It takes about 10 minutes in total to fix all 4 doors.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Modern

1998 Explorer Door Latch Bolt

As I own a 1998 car which I bought new but has only driven 80,000 miles and still looks great I was disappointed that the nylon bushing was original. The door latch bolt is gone Bad on all 4 doors. Replacement part from the Ford dealer approx. 42.00 pieces. And you can't just buy a nylon case. I've looked everywhere for a replacement but no suggestions. Using tape worked but wore out quickly. After finding them at Revain for less than 10.00 each, I jumped on them. Arrived quickly, easy…

  • Great for outdoor activities

Powered by Lincoln Mark VII.

. I was a little hesitant to order these for my 1987 Lincoln Mark VII because although it's considered a fox body it has a lot of parts that are exclusive to this car, including other Lincolns. At first my fears seemed to be confirmed as the strikers were different from the original ones. Mark VII strikers have a thinner rectangular door stop (Fig. 1) and they have it slightly wider and longer on the side of the door frame. After installation, however, they worked perfectly, only one had to be…

Door bushings are different from the trunk / hatch

This is a great replacement door bushing for the '96 Ford Explorer. The doors use a different bushing than the liftgate/sunroof. Rice. 1. The old bushing is broken. Rice. 2. Take a marker and draw a visible line around the body of the old counterbolt and remove. Rice. 3. Compare the old door latch with the new one. one and replace. Install the new one along the lines you drew earlier, otherwise you will have to adjust the door to close it. Rice. 4 A new locking bolt was installed. Check if it…
