Not compatible with Ender 3

First of all this hotend works very well, I haven't had any problems with it. It took a few hours to install as the Dragonfly Hotend BMS is not compatible with the Ender 3. It works well but is too short. I had to fabricate a new parts cooling duct and a metal cover that the fan attaches to because my parts cooling duct was hanging under the nozzle. the lower bolts x of the roller wheel from the underside of the sheet metal so that the cooling jacket of the newly manufactured part is not…

Great hotend build!

I bought this (along with other items) to use on my Ender 5. I was torn between Dragonfly and the E3D V6 installation, but settled on this one because it was a direct replacement for the standard hotend and didn't require any mounting adapters. This little guy caught my attention because of the shape of the thermal break. The conical shape offers more surface area than a cylindrical thermal break, preventing heat from escaping. Good hot ending. but Triple Check Bowden Tube Setup

Used 2 of them one on CR10 and one Ender3. The physical attachment to the machine and heater/thermistor is fine, but both hot ends were very difficult to get through the Capricorn Bowden tube I was using. It appears to be slightly larger than that used by Phaetus. This caused a LOT of frustration and retraction jams that caused the filament to cool above the thermal break. After much gnashing of teeth I ran the drill through the radiator where the bowden tube (with the thermal barrier removed)…
