Absolutely Love These Ratchets

I have a pretty good selection of sockets that I have obtained from one place or another over the years. I have always wanted to buy a full set of SAE and Metric Sockets. What I didn't have was decent ratchets for the several drive sizes that I have. It's a hodgepodge collection.I do a lot of woodworking, but lately, since we have moved to 4 acres in the woods from a regular building lot in a big city. My duties and chores have changed abruptly.Our property is on a 2,000 acre lake and we have…

High quality ratchet drive set

These are high quality ratchet drives. They spin easily both ways, ratchets work flawlessly, beautiful finish. I was concerned that the directional lever was plastic, but taking my knife, and cutting into it, it does appear metal. I wanted a backup set and got these. My craftsman are over 50 years old. These work smoother than my old craftsman drives. This appears to be better quality than my old set. Enjoy.

In need of a ratchet set w/o the worry of theft

Initially I was looking for a cheap set of ratchets I can keep in my vehicle and not worry about someone stealing my life savings?Now I’m having second thought?Why:1. Look at the finish of these ratchets. Compared to a few of my other USA made tools, the Duratechs definitely standout!2. The details are awesome! The "blue” stripe is a really nice touch. I cant tell but looks enameled in?3. The handle ends also have very nice knurling adding to the detail.4. Duratech name is stamped on the handle

Solid, heavy duty ratchet

This set of three reversible ratchet handles (1/4"; 3/8" & 1/2" drive) feels heavy and very solidly constructed. There is no play where the sockets attach and they each have a push button to release a socket when you're done. They look great and function perfectly. Great value for a mere $31.99.

Wish I had these years ago, Excellent value for the money!

Soon as I picked these up I knew they were going to replace my old Craftsman and other off brand wrenches! They are so smooth with an easy push button release and simply work well! Visually appealing and are a well-designed wrench. With the 72 tooth drive, it’s much easier to tighten a nut or bolt in a restricted space. I would recommend these.

Solid set of ratchets

I have several other ratchets, mostly Craftsman but some husky, and the ratchet head on these feels the best. They feel solid on all the bolts I've tried thus far.Compared to one of the Craftsman 3 piece ratchet sets I have, the 3/8's ratchet is a little shorter.Nice set, especially if need a replacement.

Nice set of ratchets

A decent price for what you get. These seem to be high-quality ratchet handles. The ratcheting mechanism works well, and reverses and releases sockets smoothly.

  • So far so good. It holds up untightening bolts off big machinery at the plant I work at. Good buy

  • The Duratech ratchet handle and socket wrench is heavy and bulky, making it difficult to maneuver in tight spaces

Works as they should

A nice set of ratchets at a budget price. The handles are nice and the ratcheting action works well. I dislike the reversing mechanism. It does not have a solid detent into the position nor does it have much to grab onto with your thumb or finger to slide it over. The price makes them a very good buy.

Great ratchet set - my new review

This is a great ratchet set from Duratech that includes all 3 sizes of ratchets you would want. I like the handles on these and the fact that I have all 3 types with this set. If your in need of a high quality ratchet set this is a great option. I really love the Duratech brand as it is on par if not better then the Craftsman brand. They make great tools and these ratchets are no exception.
