Easy installation is best in exhaust systems and parts

As the exhausts fit, installation is very easy if you get decent instructions. It only takes a few minutes to install after you pull out the old one. What I don't like is that it's too quiet. My previous exhaust had a nice raspy rumble inside my JK. This thing is almost inaudible unless you add speed, even topless. Well, that'll be great for some, but I wanted something with a growl. I like the look of the high pad but wish it had more sound. After about a week of driving it got a little louder

I LOVE THIS on Performance Parts & Accessories

Definitely worth every penny. Gives the jeep a low growl. (Whatever video you watch, it's not fair. It's mean.) You'll need a day to complete this along with a 5/8 wrench/head, crowbar, saw and WD40 and a flashlight if you have one. to do. The hardest part is dismantling the stock exhaust. Use wd40 for hangers and burners for all hard screws. Cut the pipe to make it easier to remove or edit. To be honest just cut as you need. It's not hard to put on, it's pretty easy. I have a small drip right…

BIG LOW WINNER THAT'S NOT LOUD ENOUGH!

Great exhaust. Deep mid-range sound that isn't loud or distracting - louder than it came out of the box, but not loud enough to make everyone jump. on my 2008 3.8l i actually had to cut 2.5" and loosened 2 bolts from the evaporator tank to install the rear suspension. do a few minutes and everything will be easy. all your time and frustration will be gone. The factory exhaust which is a pain in the $$ tip, cut all the hangers off the pipe, cut the muffler, then cut it just short of where it…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • There are new competitors

The sound of this exhaust is perfect if you don't want a nasty Jeep, but rather a deeper midrange that won't kill your ears. At idle, the noise is quiet and gets a little louder, but gets very quiet at cruising speed. That means almost no rumble on the freeway. The only complaint I have, however, is that for us 3.8 liter jeep owners, you have to cut the intermediate pipe 2.5 inches so that the hook on the end of the pipe matches the hook mount they send you. The bracket bolts to the existing…
