Installed in about 1/2 hour after figuring out which wires to use on my truck. 03 1500HD on one of the taillight harnesses, use the green wire to power the reverse lights and the black wire to ground. Pull the wire along the frame. Feed through the gear cable grommet under the carpet in the driver's floor. I installed mine at the bottom of the dash and used the cigarette lighter power. I bought a used truck (Ram 6.7L 2500 2010) that didn't have a backup camera and this is pretty much a must for me as I have multiple trailers and a 5th wheel hook on, along with shit all over our property that I can hit. Installation was pretty easy and I just followed the frame/brake line, then through the connector in the floor, under the carpet, to the dash/console, and the monitor was mounted on the dash at the top of the center console. I use this backup camera on my MF4707 tractor. So far it works very well and I'm glad I bought it. I could use the camera both in front and behind the cab tractor depending on what I'm doing to get a better view of the ground. Using it from behind allows me to see what's happening behind me without having to constantly look behind me or in the rear-view mirrors.
