I bought this tool specifically for one job, to enlarge the spacing between the 2x6 boards on a existing deck. Most 4.5 saws were much less expensive. I wasn’t expecting so much from such a small circular saw but I’m very impressed at how well it’s performed. I installed engineered wood flooring in four rooms and was very handy for all the cuts. Even after a half day of use, the battery was still going strong even though it is only 2.0 AH. However it’s very difficult to get a straight, square cut. I used this unit 3 times on the 3 use the blade was free wheeling, the motor would run but it will not turn the blade. I contacted manufacture, and they wanted me to take the gear housing apart and look at the gears to make sure no teeth was broken, If so they would send me the gears so I could fix it and I had to pay $15.00 in shipping.
