A great disadvantage! - Paper shredder

This is a very good paper shredder but I wish it was bigger. The bin is only 19" x 15" x 15" and fills up far too quickly. If only they made the device bigger, its trash can would be a lot better. It also has a very sensitive sensor that stops the shredder when the basket is full. It stops shredding and won't push or compress the contents of the basket as you walk. It stops - you go into the basket and push the shredded paper down (compact) The sensor is triggered again. This is repeated 5-6…

Arrived, no support no help

I purchased this item to donate to a local organization. They figured it out quickly, but currently it doesn't work because the part that tells the grinder that the door is closed doesn't work. If we secure it with a paperclip it will work. The office manager called the company and they sent the same part that didn't work. We asked the technician to come out because the car was too heavy to send back and the packaging was destroyed when it was taken out of the box. The company has said it can't

Good product. Suitable for daily and long-term use.

So far, so good. About two months in use and it works great. In my office, they call him "Ollie North 2000" because of his shredding skills. I use the standard pouches they recommend and use blade oil every time I change pouches. The only thing I can complain about is the filling of the bag and the early filling warning. The dense pile of the cross-tab clumps and only needs a little brushing, but giving the container a little nudge usually settles the tuft, giving you more time between bag…

Very quiet so far so good.

Rating after 1 week: This grinder is much nicer than the private label we had before. The "blades" are more like an industrial paper shredder, which are thick metal wheels rather than thin, thin blades. and talk while walking. The 16-gallon wastebasket, although made out of cardboard, is also very nice. This means it needs to be cleaned less often, which means less mess. Chopper was sold to Revain and shipped to Revain. It was packaged very securely for a nearly 80 pound car. Revain offered a…

Materials go through box after box

In the week immediately following receipt of this shredder I was processing materials for one box of printers a day and two boxes on the last day. Each box lasted about 40-45 minutes non-stop, which could have been faster if I hadn't spent so much time (re)reading a piece of material before destroying it (you can never be too careful). It worked great. Several times I was careless and put in more than 22 pages, but he either stopped and warned me or changed them and then sold them anyway. a box
