Flowtron BF-150 Replacement Bulb for BK-80D, FC7600 & Wall Sconce Models Review

Replacement bulb works great and has been working for 2 years now. It is very difficult to fit into the Flowtron compartment. My husband helped me with this. The original lamp that came with the Flowtron stopped working immediately after a month or two and appeared defective. I have a 1/2 acre Flowtron that has run for 5 years without a bulb change and I have a 1 1/2 acre that had that bulb replaced immediately, but the spare bulb continues to work great.

Got them today and they work fine. Easy Installation - UNPLUG the unit, unscrew the two screws that secure the plastic cover to the top of the unit, and then the four screws that secure the lamp platform. Raise the platform carefully. Remove old bulbs and insert new bulbs. BE CAREFUL when lowering new bulbs back into the block. Mine stayed in place when I lowered them into the unit, but they don't seem very tight and break easily if dropped. Proceed in reverse order to reassemble the device…

I give 4 stars for the bulb and prompt delivery. Flowtron insect repellents are not that many. It took me two attempts to change the bulb. Each time the bulb arrived on time and worked perfectly. I read in other reviews that these bulbs break easily when fitted. I found the install worked very well without making any changes to the bottom tabs as stated in some of the reviews I read. I accomplished this by removing the plastic cage/lid, replacing the bulbs, and carefully reinstalling the plastic cage/lid.
