So far so good. Lots of heavy miles on this thing has been broken many times on my Santa Cruz Hightower and when it breaks or wears out it needs to be replaced. two thumbs up

Love how it looks on my Yeti MTB! I haven't hit anything yet, but I'm sure if I do, nothing will get hurt. And I also like the fact that they give you an extra bash guard in case you break the first one.

This is a really well made item with a solid feel. It installs easily and is perfect for protecting the 30t oval chainring on my 18 Trek Fuel. I like the fact that it comes with a spare protective element, but I have a hunch that the first element will hold up just fine. I will for sure be ordering more of these.

Zippa's bashguard is good quality at a good price. It spun instantly without removing the cranks or sprocket. I'm pretty sure I don't need a chain guide for the bike, but if I do, Zippa will only sell the guide along with the bumper in the future, which I already have. An added bonus is that you get a second spare bashguard.

Very quick to install and lighter than other options but still very strong. It also comes with an extra bumper and is future proof as you can add a chainguard later if you decide you want/need it without having to replace the bumper piece. All in all the best and cheapest option I could find.

Absolutely a MUST if you are a serious racer. This thing has saved my front ring more times than I can count. I drive very hard and rocky roads and this thing will take any punishment I can inflict on it. It's ridiculously easy to install. As you can see the mounting screws are accessible through the ring without removing it. And it comes with spare protection part! A similar item at a bike shop will cost around $80-$90. I would honestly give it 6 stars if possible. Just get it!

This thing has saved valuable teeth on my chain a few times now and even comes with a spare in case you break the guard entirely. Notes: You don't have to remove the whole chain, crank and all to install it, at least I didn't. I have a Santa Cruz Bronson and it has four bolts or so so the setup wasn't too bad and I don't know anything about being a bike mechanic - it mounts on a little track so you move it back and forth as needed how far you want it to protrude from under your chainring. The headguard is a good idea if you want to do things like skinny or other technical features because it encourages you to try more knowing you won't mess up your sprocket if/if you make a mistake.
