They work well and not only turn on at night from dusk until dawn, but also when the power goes out. You can also unplug it and use it as a flashlight. Still going strong after 2 years.

We had a power outage and these bulbs WILL NOT come on. The light turns on when it's low power or when you use it as a flash, but otherwise the light won't light up when the power goes out. Very disappointing to say the least.

I have purchased these lights from Walmart before. I have to say these are by far the best little flashlights and they work great in a storm when the power is out.
