Works as expected to replace the heating element above the racks. The price is great compared to local and online stores.

Installation was a bit difficult but not impossible. The value for money is excellent. This is the second we have replaced - last time lasted 6 years. Hopefully I'll replace the oven before we have to replace it again.

Perfect replacement for the original grill element which caught fire itself. Installed 4 months ago with no problems. A little fiddly to insert, but that's not the part's fault. I would recommend 2 people for installation to help hold and assemble.

Fits 1977 Hotpoint Electric Wall Oven. The picture shown is incorrect. There is no center bar. This is normal as my oven has a support rod that goes through the oven. The most difficult thing is to attach the wires to the element. You need to get to the back of the oven and turn one end at a time.

Frying element stopped working on my GE range I bought in 1995, model JBP76GS3WW. The model number wasn't even listed on the GE parts list so I took a chance and ordered an item for the GE JPS76GS1 with part number WB44X173. My son exchanged the element yesterday. It works great and he replaced it with no problems. I ordered a GE part through Revain but it was filled with Global Commercial Parts. It only took a few days from ordering to delivery.

I had to modify the bracket, buy new mounting holes to drill and cut a hole for the temperature sensor. I also had to change the wiring in the oven itself, except for new screws on the terminals. For me, as an experienced electronics engineer, it was easy. After that, the installation was easy, as they say. The bracket cannot be removed from the old one. Although my oven is over 10 years old, such modifications are common when replacing parts, even if the GE (Haier) part number matches…
