Great glue: cyanoacrylate glue

I bought this gorilla glue from previous experience. This time I bought it to fix my garage door. The panel and frame are held together with a different adhesive that I cannot identify. But I know Gorilla Glue can fix metal, I tested it on several spots that were split. After a few days it seems to be holding up well. I've tried wood glue on a few items and it just didn't hold. My husband had a small bottle of this stuff that I used on an item (and it worked great) but then he took the bottle to work. Great waterproof glue but not perfect for all purposes

This glue is great for well made connections and gives you enough "open time" to seat the terminals properly and line up the connection perfectly. I love this glue and use it most of the time. When used correctly, it creates bonds that are stronger than wood. This glue is used as the standard glue by some professional carpenters, which is a pretty good recommendation. On the other hand, I use an alpha glue for well-made joints on non-greasy woods where I don't need a setting time. like Titebond
