It's ok but don't expect much

It removes blanket material but the bag only removes about 50% of the material, the rest slides off the back of the scraper. No corner works better than the other. These are the same results. You're probably better off just using a regular scraper and covering the area with plastic. First I spray a mixture of water and detergent onto the blanket to loosen the material and reduce dust. You are actually better off using a regular paint scraper and sticking to 13 gallons. Office trash under the…

Works better than expected.

Works great. I followed the instructions and it scratched the ceiling with no problem. Please note that you need to leave 3 inches around the perimeter. I can also see that unless you're a big strong guy like me you might get in trouble as the pocket fills up quickly with a very heavy wet cast. It does a workout to stay clean. One pass will probably be all most people can do without emptying the bag, 2 or 3 if you have good upper body strength. If you don't, I would plan on using it bagless and

Too cheap to work, Flimsy

is the cheapest useless popcorn peeler you can buy. The metal flange between the handle and the scraper flexes with virtually no stress. The best way to remove popcorn. 1 moisten with a spray. I had a second paint sprayer that we replaced and it wasn't used, it sprays water well. Excellent coverage and low pressure so it absorbs better and you use less water. Either stairs or drywall piles, a 10 drywall router and a 12 by 12 room took about 20 minutes total. Don't waste money on it. Just cover…

Room after room. We used to use a spatula for scraping. I bought this thinking something to limit the clutter would cost $20. I was right! There's still a little clutter, but there always is with any home reno. The difference after use is small compared to wrapping the entire room in plastic and conveniently wearing a hazmat suit when we didn't have one. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it takes some practice and strategic knotting to keep the bag on the scraper and my husband says…

. Popcorn tops not aged or repainted like mine

I am sure this product will work for popcorn tops that are not aged or repainted like mine. But when I read the reviews they were great so I gave it a try. In my experience it is very difficult to get the right angle on this item so you can apply the right amount of pressure instead of measuring the drywall. I ended up dampening the ceiling with a garden sprayer and letting it sit for a good hour, then scraping it off by hand with just a spatula. When I tried this tool, I didn't have the…

Surprisingly helpful!

Used this scraper for the first time today. I wasn't sure what to expect. Here are my pros and cons. PROS: Pretty solid build. So it has room to add an extension descriptor. Quickly rip off the popcorn ceiling. CONS: The handle flexes a bit and needs to be readjusted after a few uses. If you think you're going to use larger bags than the standard grocery bag, think again. Once you wet the blanket and start scratching, the bag will become heavy and the bag will start to slide off due to the…

Not for big jobs but probably good for smaller ones

I'm giving 3 stars because it's a unique idea with potential. But in practice this is not the best product. Here are my observations: 1) Hanging the bag on the device reduces manual dexterity. The rocking bag lets the device rock in your hands. 2) The scraper blade is a little thin and needs to be very straight, otherwise it will pierce the soft drywall and peel off the paper. it happened to me 3) The scraper blade is not wide enough for many jobs. It may be ok for little ones. 4) The mess…
