I only bought this because it was the only aquarium light I could find with a plastic cover on the LEDs and I wanted to make sure that no moisture ever got on the LEDs. I actually only left the light on my planted aquarium for 5 minutes because this Hygger light had a slight purple tint next to another planted aquarium that was definitely noticeable in person.
