great product best in ignition spares

Great product. The price is not even close. My local parts store sells similar ones for $120. Perfect fit for my Subaru alternator.

I'll note right away: there is a slight fit

Before buying, I read the comments and realized that there is a slight fit. I only confirm this. It will run against the flywheel if you are not careful when installing it. Subaru SP170 - Works great once installed

Not a direct replacement for OEM

This coil is NOT an OEM replacement but works great. Before removing the old one, measure the distance between the coil plates and the flywheel plates. To do this, you need a feeler gauge and set the same distance when replacing. The only two differences between this and the OEM are the slots that the screws go into so the spacing can be adjusted (the OEM doesn't need to be adjusted). The ignition cable is longer here. I would buy it again if needed, although we've had a few coil failures.
