I am currently working from home and need a second monitor. I used to have another brand and after 10 months the mini HDMI connector was (kinda) damaged. So I have both and so far it has been 100% perfect for my needs.

I bought it for my Macbook Pro in early 2015. It works great as an extended monitor. The setup was basically plug and play. No download, no drivers or software. The cable that came with the kit was defective, but the company sent me a new cable free of charge. I'll take him to the streets next week, hopefully he keeps shining. Good graphics.

I'm not sure if it's my MacBook M, but I need the same communication box with this portable monitor as my home monitors. It would be better if I could connect it directly to my laptop and not need any additional hardware. The screen quality is excellent. Also, I couldn't route the sound through the monitor as advertised. Ideally for the price it should be wireless to get four stars.

Update: I ordered this but didn't have the two cables needed to make it work. The company helped with this and now it works great! If you have Apple products, you'll need a Lightning to HDMI Adapter ($40) AND a MINI HDMI to HDMI Cable ($10) to make it work with the iPhone.

The monitor is exactly what I need for my laptop. This allows me to see multiple windows at any given time. It's sharp and clear, and you can easily adjust the brightness/contrast etc. The only thing I could wish for is being able to attach the cover when the monitor is rotated 180 degrees. I ordered this monitor to have more functionality when I'm not working at home. Monitor connected to my MBP with no additional drivers or change in display settings. It's intuitive, bright, clear, and doesn't draw too much power from my PMB without plugging it into an outlet. The speakers are tinny, but that's to be expected. Not a big deal as I will be using headphones when working in a public place. 10/10 recommend!

This is a really great screen. As far as it can connect to devices, it's amazing and gets the job done. The screen has good resolution and connects quickly. The only issues I have are the placement of the cables. this is really annoying and makes it uncomfortable to prop up the screen.
