I have never used them but got a set for recent work on my 10+ year old pickup truck engine. I will no longer do repairs without them. I've only used this a couple of times so far but looks like a good shop tool. I had to replace the rear struts on a 10 year old car. The top bracket had a couple of bolts welded into the wheel well and were quite rusty. The replacement bracket came with new nuts, but they were too tight to thread onto the rusty studs. I bought these because I work on an old machine, they've saved me a few times! The ones that look like screws rethreading something are the most useful when you use them (sometimes you have to be very careful when the threads are clogged), they clean and straighten the threads well.
